Pendeknya hidup ni

Teringat mek masa kecik2 dulu, tak sabar mek nak besar, katanya boleh tolong parents. Tapi bila mek dah merasa besar ni macam tak puas lak merasa zaman kecik2 dulu. Baru mek perasan bahawa hidup kita ni pendek ajer. Alih2 dah nak tua. Hehehhe...mek tak pernah rasa umur tu perlu dirahsiakan okey. Kalau dah tua tu buat cara kertu.

But itu baru perancangan mek la. Hope tuhan makbulkan. Mek juga teringin nak tengok kawan2 mek berjaya. Mek rasa bangga kalau dorang berjaya. Hidup ni terlalu cepat masanya. Sedar2 kang kita dah 40 tahun. Kalau dah macam tu mek nak sesuatu seperti aset untuk masa depan mek.

Emmm mek juga teringin nak amik MBA dgn PHD before umur mek cecah 36 tahun, but itu pun baru perancangan.

Mek teringin nak buat tu. Harap Tuhan juga memakbulkan permintaan mek ni.

Akhir sekali, sebelum mek menutup mata, ada dua hasrat mek, pertama, mek teringin nak bermimpi arwah ibu mek dan memeluk dia dengan penuh erat serta penuh kasih sayang. Keduanya mek ingin membawa bapa mek menatap kubur ibu mek dan mengaku kesalahannya meninggalkan mek dan ibu mek dulu. Mek nak dia menyesali setiap perbuatannya.... Apapun Mek sayang sangat ibu mek. Dialah ibu yang terbaik buat mek. Semoga rohnya dicucuri rahmat. Amin.

Salam rindu RoseMatilda buat Amor,Acu,Hotmama, ReezBerry,Kak Nita dan semua yang mengenali mek.

Another Story about Puchong LRT-Story before election

RM1 Bln LRT Project Ready By 2011

KUALA LUMPUR, March 4 (Bernama) -- The RM1 billion light rail transit project linking Sri Petaling and Putra Heights in USJ, which is expected to be completed by 2011, will ease the traffic problems of the residents.

Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for the Puchong parliamentary seat, incumbent Lau Yeng Peng, said this was the BN government's long-term strategy to solve the traffic problems faced by the people of Puchong and surrounding areas.

Lau said this at a press conference at BN Sri Serdang campaign centre in Serdang today to refute claims by the opposition parties that the project had been cancelled.

Also present were BN candidates for Kinrara and Sri Serdang state seats, Dr Kow Cheong Wei and Datuk Mohamad Satim Diman, repectively.

He said construction of the 16-km track was expected to start early next year.

"There will be 12 stations along the route, of which 10 will be in Taman Kinrara, Bandar Kinrara, Puchong Jaya, Tempua, Pusat Bandar Puchong, Bandar Puteri, Puchong Perdana, Puchong Indah, Taman Tasik Puchong Prima and Putra Heights," he said.

Lau said as a short-term measure to tackle traffic woes, two alternative roads would be built.

He said the Cabinet Committee on Public Transport, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, last December approved an allocation of RM20 million to build a bridge over ex-mining pool to link Taman Kinrara in Puchong to Sri Manja residential area in Old Klang Road.

"Another bridge will also be built to link a road near Tesco hypermarket to USJ 1," he said.

Lau said although the two links would cost government a substantial amount of money he would lobby the government to ensure both routes stay toll-free.

In 2004 election, Lau won the seat with a majority of 11,882 votes.

In coming election, Lau will face a straight fight with DAP's Gobind Singh Deo.

For the state seats, Mohamad will face PAS' Ahmad Idzam Ahmad in Seri Serdang and Dr Koh challenge DAP's Teresa Kok Suh Sim in Kinrara.

The constituency has 75,625 voters, comprising Malays (42.76 per cent), Chinese (40.63 percent), Indians (15.76 percent) and others (0.85 percent).

LRT, new roads to benefit Puchong

2008/03/05

KUALA LUMPUR: Residents in Puchong can look forward to a light-rail transit (LRT) system which will help alleviate traffic congestion in the area. Work on the LRT system is expected to begin either at the end of this year or early next year.

The current Bukit Jalil LRT station in Sri Petaling will be extended through strategic townships in Puchong before ending in Putra Heights.

The 16km track is expected to serve at least 250,000 people in Taman Kinrara, Bandar Kinrara, Puchong Jaya, Tempua, Pusat Bandar Puchong, Bandar Puteri, Puchong Perdana, Puchong Indah and Tasik Puchong Prima.

The Barisan Nasional candidate for the Puchong parliamentary seat, Lau Yeng Peng, said yesterday that the project was scheduled for completion by 2011.

It is expected to cost more than RM1 billion.

"A bus service will also be provided to ferry commuters to and from the station," he said, adding that 100,000 commuters were expected to use the service during peak hours daily.

Besides reducing traffic congestion, the LRT would also stimulate growth in the area.

"Before this, there was speculation that the project would be delayed or even stopped due to the lack of finances and other problems.

"I want this announcement to dismiss all the rumours as we have been working on the development of Puchong even before the dissolution of parliament," he said.

Work would also begin after the elections on one of two alternative roads which had been approved.

"The road will be built across the Klang river, linking Kinrara Puchong and Sri Manja, while the second road will be from Tesco Puchong to USJ1.

"In fact, the plans and allocation of approximately RM20 million had been approved by the relevant authorities, including the federal government.

"As far as I am concerned at this point, the new road will be toll free and I will fight for it to stay that way," he said.

Lau added that the cabinet had approved the funds under the Public Transportation Cabinet Committee, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, in December last year.

Also present at the press conference held at the Umno Seri Serdang state assemblyman's office were Seri Serdang and Kinrara incumbent state assemblymen Datuk Mohd Satim Diman and Dr Kow Cheong Wei.

Mana Puchong Punyer LRT

Namun setelah lama menunggu bayangan LRT, mahupun jaringan nya pun tak nampak lagi. Ni bila minyak naik lagi 78 sen kepada RM2.70 se-liter pun masih takde bayangan lagi. Yang kerajaan tahu kita kena jimat cermat, potong itu, potong ini, bagi mek la kan kalau dah tahu kena bebanan bayar subsidi minyak yang tinggi, kenapa tak dibuat sahaja sistem pengangkutan canggih dengan membina LRT, ERL ke, memang la sekarang ni macam tak untung, but in future who know? Kekadang mek rasa macam sengal je kerajaan ni. Cakap senang la, coz dia tak merasa macam mana orang bawahan ni merasa bila harga semua naik. Jangan la cakap sesedap rasa jer suruh orang jimat sedangkan orang2 besar ni minyak pun disubsidi oleh duit rakyat. Cuba dorang bayar sendiri tengok macam mana rasanya. Kekadang mek tak faham apa yang dorang nak buat, sungguh tak efisien. Mek rasa pasal tu la dorang kalah teruk kat 5 negeri masa PRU lalu. Sepatutnya mereka kena faham masalah rakyat.

Bagi mengaburi mata rakyat senang jer bagi insentif macam RM625 setahun la...kalau dibuat LRT kan senang, tak yah ko nak pening2 fikir pasal duit. Long term investment la. Mek nak cabar jer supaya PM cuba naik KTM Komuter masa puncak tengok macam mana keadaannya. Naik tanpa pengawal ke, menyamar jadi rakyat biasa, cuba tengok masalah rakyat. Kan bagus. Ni takde pun nak rasa masalah rakyat, dah la KTM Komuter tu kadang2 takde air cond, panas, busuk, benda2 kecik macam ni pun Menteri Pengangkutan tak leh nak settle kan. Macam mana rakyat nak percaya lagi. Dah lama dah bersabar.

Berbalik kepada LRT ni, mana dia budget RM4 billion tu? mana perginyer, mek rasa macam kena tipu jer. Takkan senyap jer. Nak buat LRT bayang pun takde, so kita macam kena tipu jer. Tengoklah Parlimen seperti Puchong, Kelana Jaya, Subang, Hulu Langat, Gombak semua jatuh. Itu tandanya protes. Banyak orang tak puas hati cara pengurusan kerajaan. Kita bukan nak mintak tengok koridor2 tu. Cukuplah apa yang terjadi pada Cyberjaya, Projek Pelabuhan Kelang tu macam mana dah terjadi. Takkan tak rasa benda tu.

So mek harap tunaikan la janji2 terdahulu. Buat la LRT, tunjukkan lah pada rakyat pelan dia, jaringan dia. Sudah2 lah berbangga pasal koridor2 tu. Kita penduduk bukan nyer ramai, 28 juta jer. Jagalah hati dan perasaan rakyat.

Sekian.

NOTICE FROM POS MALAYSIA BERHAD

Notice From Pos Malaysia

PUCHONG NEW POSTCODES

Monday June 2, 2008

Postcodes in Puchong changed last year

By LIM CHIA YING

THE postcode change in Puchong was meant to facilitate easier identification of mail delivery borders and categorising of postmen, explained Pos Malaysia.

It is also said to enable developers of new housing areas to get their postcodes right.

Pos Malaysia Selangor deputy state manager and chief of mail operation Ab Aziz Othman said the restructuring of postcodes in Puchong was for the benefit of all as Puchong was becoming increasingly densely populated with the mushrooming of new developments and housing areas over the years.

“We had actually applied to our headquarters for approval for this restructuring exercise in April last year. Approval was given a month later, in May, and we immediately implemented the change,” said Ab Aziz.

Changes inevitable: Kow (left) and Ab Aziz showing the flyers that state the new postcodes for the residential areas in Puchong.

He said it had already been a year since the change was implemented and claimed that flyers were distributed to households to inform the residents of the exercise.

Pos Malaysia explained the change at a press conference called by the office of Seri Serdang assemblyman Datuk Satim Diman.

While Satim was not present at the meeting, his two special assistants Awtar Singh and Kuan Chee Heng were, as was former Kinrara assemblyman Dr Kow Cheong Wei.

Recently, groups of residents in Pusat Bandar Puchong were upset and expressed bewilderment over the change in the postcodes of their residential area, claiming that they had not been notified prior to the change.

They said the new postcodes were inconveniencing them as they would have to notify their banks and credit card companies, and were worried that their bank statements and letters would not reach them if the old postcodes were used.

Ab Aziz explained that the first two digits in a postcode indicated the state, while the last three digits indicated the mail delivery zone and the postman in charge of delivering the mail.

“Even if the postcode is the old one or a wrong one, as long as the recipient's address is correct, I can promise you that the mail will reach the correct destination.

“If the address is wrong but the word ‘Puchong’ is written, then we assure you that we will still try our best to find the place,” he told several residents who were present.

Asked why this matter was only brought up recently by residents when the change had been implemented a year ago, Ab Aziz said people might not have given much thought to the flyers distributed previously and only became aware of the exercise following the change in postcode digits on signages put up by the local councils.

He said the Selangor post management and headquarters had been closely monitoring the rapid development in Puchong before deciding to implement the exercise.

Asked whether the new postcodes were permanent or if there were more changes in the pipeline, Ab Aziz said he did not foresee changes in the short term.

Kow said Puchong had over 60 housing estates with more than 275,000 residents living in over 100,000 homes.

“Previously, things like credit cards and bank loans were not commonplace. However, over the years, with these things becoming commonplace, the volume of mail, too, has increased,” he said.

“Therefore, we have to accept upgrading, and this may take some time. It's inevitable although we know that some of us may face problems initially.”

He added that he never failed to meet up with Pos Malaysia officers every year to show them his gratitude and offer encouragement and support, which would in turn improve their productivity.

“So far, my service centre has also not received complaints from residents about loss of letters,” he said.

At present, there are a total of 74 delivery postmen in Puchong who have to deliver an average of over 60,000 mail items daily in the township.

Meanwhile, the change in postcode is said to be only a mechanism and not a bill that has to be gazetted.

Puchong branch delivery manager Anwar Kamirun also highlighted the obstacles faced by postmen daily when delivering mail.

Among them are the disturbance of stray dogs prowling the streets and pet dogs within house compounds but which are not leashed or are tied near the mailbox.

He also cited defective and improper mailboxes, into which the postmen had difficulty placing the letters.

“I sincerely hope that residents will cooperate with us so that postmen can handle their jobs more easily and quickly,” said Anwar.

Ab Aziz suggested that residents might want to start updating their new postcodes on computer and send letters to relevant agencies and authorities to notify them of the change.

“We will undoubtedly encounter complaints, but we will try to fulfil the demands that come with this change,” he said.

There are three post offices in Puchong, located in Puchong Perdana, Bukit Puchong and Tesco Puchong, and a mini post office in Giant at Bandar Puteri.

SELANGOR NEW GROWTH ECONOMIC REGION

New face for Selangor
31/12/07

By Zuhaila Sedek

With the ambitious plans for the Iskandar Development Region and its proximity to Singapore, which is pumping massive investment funds throughout the Asean region, it's on everybody's lips that Johor is going to be the country's top growth region.

Selangor, the only state in the country to declare itself "developed", certainly does not want to be left out.

It has come up with a massive development programme that aims to propel its 12 new growth areas. A key part of this move is to turn on its full power to attract investments, big and small, local and abroad.

The new growth areas will be specific in economic activity, and the range will be as diverse as is required to cover the gamut of industries from basic manufacturing to new fields in biomedicine and biotechnology.

Berjaya City

One of the largest growth areas will be the Ladang Socfin development that is slated for completion by 2040. Called Berjaya City, this 16,451-acre development takes up 15,811 acres in Hulu Selangor and another 640 acres in Kuala Selangor.

"Berjaya City will be a mixed development of housing, commercial, industrial, agricultural and infrastructure components," said Selangor's Town and Country Planning Department director Mohd Jaafar Mohd Atan.

It will have three main sections, the Upper district, Middle district and Lower district, and will be developed by Berjaya City Sdn Bhd, formerly Eminent Capital Sdn Bhd, which owns the land.

Situated about 4km off the North-South Highway, the area is now covered with rubber and oil palm plantations.

Berjaya City, Jaafar said, will also have a "homestead" project, the Persona Farm and Maya Suria residential development.

Vision City

The second largest development area will be the 10,861-acre Selangor Vision City (SVC), situated alongside the Guthrie Corridor and includes parts of the districts of Sungai Buloh, Damansara, Bukit Raja, Petaling, Rawang and Gombak.

"We believe SVC will cater to many industries in the region and make Selangor the countrys top investment centre," Jaafar said.

"The location is strategic as part of it comes under the Klang Valley and extends into the northern side of Kuang town."

Guthrie Group Bhd will undertake SVC, which will surround its developed areas of Bukit Jelutong, Denai Alam and Bukit Subang, which take up 3,450 acres in all.

The prime growth areas, now under oil palm plantations, are Ladang Lagong Mas (1,511 acres), Ladang Elmina Gombak (1,800 acres), Ladang Elmina Petaling (3,400 acres) and Bukit Subang (700 acres), making up 7,411 acres in all.

With the SVC taking off, land values in the surrounding areas are expected to rise, including that of Malay reserve land.

"Under the Malaysia Physical Plan, Selangor will be part of the national conurbation and contribute to the country's development in the 'glocal' context," Jaafar said.

Going "glocal" is the government's call to the industrial and commercial sectors, to "hink global, but act local".

Sepang to expand

Another new growth area will be Sepang, where a "balanced, mixed development" called Sepang Vintage Heights will rise on a 4,057-acre site, a significant part of which is an oil palm plantation called Ladang Teluk Merbau. It will have housing, industrial, ecotourism, infrastructure and utilities projects.

The plantation belongs to Hup Seng Consolidated Bhd but the development is to be carried out by Vintage Heights Sdn Bhd, a joint-venture company set up by GuocoLand Malaysia Bhd, Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS), Hup Seng, Crescent Capital Sdn Bhd and Singapore's Cheltenham Inv Pte Ltd.

"This development will provide more job opportunities for the people, especially in the industrial, eco-tourism and utilities sectors," Jaafar pointed out.

Of the total area, 1,527 acres will be for residential units, 834 acres for commercial projects, 490 acres for industries and the remaining 1,206 acres for infrastructure development.

This development is targeted for completion by 2020 and will complement another growth area adjacent to it, the Sepang Gold Coast.

Located near Taman Sepang Putra, Sepang Gold Coast is also linked by good roads to Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, Sungai Pelek, Bagan Lalang and Morib.

"In two years' time, when much of the development takes shape, Sepang Gold Coast will be the latest hotspot to be seen in," he said.

This RM3 billion development undertaken by Permodalan Negeri Selangor Bhd and Sepang Gold Coast Sdn Bhd is taking place along a 2km stretch of the Bagan Lalang beach and is being touted as the country's newest holiday destination.

Under the first phase, villas over the water, called Golden Palm Tree Water Villas, are being built.

Selangor Science Park 2

Another major project coming up in Sepang is the Selangor Science Park 2. This 988-acre area that will emphasise hi-tech development is expected to be completed in 18 months.

The focus of activity in this park, which will be within easy reach of the KL International Airport, is to enhance research and development in the biosciences and technology.

The RM1 billion Selangor Science Park 2 is being developed by PKNS, which is also developing Selangor Science Park 1 that is slated for completion by March 2008. Science Park 2 aims to lure major investors from around the world, using its close proximity to Cyberjaya and Putrajaya as a key selling point.

Canal City

Another major development for Selangor is to put an end to flood problems within the Greater Klang Valley area. Called Canal City, this 5,399-acre development stretching over the Klang and Hulu Langat districts will serve as a flood mitigation system, with an 18km-long canal linking the Klang and Hulu Langat rivers.

The RM3 billion Canal City will also have a water reserve system to provide drinking water for the state. Of the total area, 3,954 acres will be for residential and infrastructure development.

"Those developing these new growth areas should complete their projects according to the time schedules if Selangor is to benefit from greater investment and economic activity.

"They must not compromise on quality and the planned schedules," Jaafar said, adding "we don't want to see land and property speculation in these areas, with no results in the end."
